Claudia is a Principal Transportation Engineer and focuses
on large transit projects, freeway infrastructure
improvements, and policy planning. She has provided
transportation planning, traffic engineering, and engineering
design services since 1985. Her strong management skills have
been utilized on a wide variety of multi-modal projects with
multiple team members, stakeholder and technical advisory
groups. She has led transit projects from site selection
through preliminary design and environmental review
documentation. Her range of engineering experience combined
with public service experience enables her to facilitate
transportation decision-making efforts.
Claudia is a Professional Civil Engineer licensed in
Washington State and Oregon. She holds a Masters Degree in
Civil Engineering from the University of Wyoming and a
Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the
University of Washington. Claudia is a member of the Institute
of Transportation Engineers and the Puget Sound Chapter of the
Women’s Transportation Seminar. She has served on the King
County Boundary Review Board and the Newcastle Planning
Commission.
